You can select your character portraits from a small selection and later in the game you can unlock all of the other races and monsters images to choose frombut you cannot import your own images or music. That's really a shame. One of the biggest reasons I became interested in the series was the elminage gothic pc download of customization it had, and it's quite disappointing that such features were removed in the PC version when they were present in the PSP and 3DS versions.
It was a lot of fun playing around with portraits and customizing my party members in Elminage Original for PSP, elminage gothic pc download, and I'm very sad to hear that I won't be able to do so in this game. Can't you somehow add in portrait import option?

Our primary goal here was to get a fully playable English version and revised artwork that was suited to PC. Is it absolutely impossible to return it? Future patch or something? So was it not even "this is really hard to get working so we don't have the time to do it" but "we removed this feature because reasons"? That's not very cool, if so. Customizable portraits is my single favorite thing for games of this genre, and despite it seeming like kind of a frivolous thing, elminage gothic pc download, heavily influences my desire to purchase in all honesty.

If at all possible, including a patch to allow custom portraits would be absolutely wonderful. One thing that always saddens me is when some Japanese game is translated they always change things or cut something and let's not forget when they put bad English dubs and no option to listen the original Japanese audio : Oh well I'm going to let this on my wishlist and buy it when I'm going to really play it cause I have more games to play.
I was about to buy it and not play it right now just to give some support and make possible to get more of this kind of games in the future but now I'm just sad that the best games always stays in Japan and when they get released in English they are just butchered.
